To my readers and followers

I set-up a new blog over at mangochut.net.
There I will write about technology related topics.

Alongside it, I installed a second blog, to be found under mirthchutney.tumblr.com where I will continue to post things that make me laugh.

Please be sure to adjust the URLs in your RSS reader and/or follow me on tumblr.

Regards,

Alex

Client: “We love the movie you’ve created for us, but it’s just not working for us”

Me: “Ok, what would make it work?”

Client: “We want it to go viral! It needs dancing babies or unicorns”

I just had a nerd-gasm whilst feeling incredibly stupid.

You know the guy who played Tom Paris on Star Trek Voyager?
His name is Robert Duncan McNeill and I’ve been watching stuff he helped create, without even realising it.

Every time the name scrolled by I wondered where I had heard it before, but I never consulted IMDB… stupid me.

The Art of talking out of your ass, chapter 23:

via thedailywhat:

This Is Terrible, You Should Watch It of the Day: FACT: 100% of all children exposed to the wicca teachings of JK Rowling and her cleverly disguised devil-worshiping handbooks will eventually participate in sinful witchcraft ceremonies only to become sorely disillusioned when they arrive at the realization that magic isn’t real.

In order to get 10 hours of battery life, the entire iPad (including display) has to pull less than 2.5 Watts on average.

iFixit. Wow. I hadn’t bothered to do the math in my head, so I didn’t realize how impressive that was until now. That’s insane.

If we didn’t have proof right here in front of us, I’d insist that 2.5W total power consumption for a computer with a brightly backlit 9” LCD while playing videos and browsing the web was impossible.

(via marco)

This is quite impressive, to say the least

If a badass like Jason Chen can afford to own a bunny — and be proud of it — it’s safe for the rest of us cold-hearted bastards.

I’m hungry now.
